Child care and the early learning of children prior to starting kindergarten play an important role
in the lives of young children and their families that impact their later years. Pennsylvania
recognizes the importance of these early years and offers supports for young children, their
families and their child care and early learning providers.
Early Learning Resource Center Region 2 is happy to partner and assist our region’s child care
providers in the goal of creating positive, supportive, nurturing learning opportunities for our
region’s youngest children. We know that quality child care and early learning opportunities
benefit children, families, businesses and communities and strengthen the fabric of our society.
